Quiet Mornings on Koh Yao Noi

Long before the first boat leaves the pier, Koh Yao Noi is already awake. Fishermen check their nets in the grey light before sunrise, the local temple bell rings for morning alms, and mist still clings to the limestone karsts across the bay.

It’s a pace of life that visitors notice almost immediately — nothing here is rushed. Even our own programmes are built around this rhythm: mornings are for the elephants, when the air is cool and the forest is quiet, and afternoons are left open for the island itself.
